Carolyn Bordonaro Named A Top Young Professional

Hotel Saranac Sales Director Honored by Strictly Business Magazine

Carolyn Bordonaro, Director of Sales for Hotel Saranac, Curio Collection by Hilton, is one of Strictly Business Magazine’s Young Professionals for 2017.

Strictly Business, a publication based out of Plattsburgh, N.Y., annually honors emerging professionals in the Adirondacks region. Bordonaro, 29, was one of 20 people named to this year’s select list, selected from a group of more than 100 nominees.

Each of the young professionals honored were profiled in the June edition of Strictly Business Magazine (http://www.sbmonthly.com). Bordonaro’s profile includes her personal brand: “Enthusiastic. Dependable. Determined.”

“I think that certainly captures Carolyn professionally and personally,” says Michael Salyers, General Manager of Hotel Saranac. “She has been a key asset to Hotel Saranac, not only on the business side, but also as a face in the community.”

Bordonaro, named Director of Sales in September of 2016, was one of the first hires for Hotel Saranac by Roedel Companies. The New Hampshire-based hotelier bought Hotel Saranac in 2013 and will re-open the iconic hotel later this year.

“I have been put in the unique position of being part of the team that is re-opening this historic property that has meant so much to Saranac Lake. To be recognized for the effort we have given to this project is certainly an honor,” Bordonaro says.

The Young Professionals for 2017 were recently honored at an event sponsored by the Adirondack Young Professionals and the Plattsburgh Noon Rotary Club.
