In addition to having impressive experience in the hotel industry, Richardson has a deep understanding of the region and an intimate knowledge of the Hilton family of hotels. Richardson was most recently Assistant General Manager at Hampton Inn and Suites-Hilton Worldwide in nearby Lake Placid, N.Y.

Roedel Companies, owner of Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, N.Y., signed a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide in July of 2016 to be part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. Curio Collection hotels are hand-picked for travelers seeking local discovery and authentic experiences at distinctively upscale and historical hotels. The Curio brand allows historic Hotel Saranac to be independent and tied to Hilton’s global reservation platform.

"Anna is a great addition to Hotel Saranac’s leadership team," says Michael Salyers, General Manager of Hotel Saranac. “She has a diversified background in hotel operations, including Food & Beverage, Catering Sales and, most importantly, as an Assistant General Manager with Hilton."

Richardson is a graduate from State University of New York at Plattsburgh and has spent considerable time in the region. In addition to working at Hampton Inn, she has also been the banquet manager of the Fort William Henry Resort in Lake George and supervisor at the Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

"Guests at Hotel Saranac will expect a special experience, and that starts the second they walk into the hotel,” Richardson says. “This is an exciting project that I am proud to be part of."
